Loving the new Kid Rock cd

I pre-ordered it on Amazon and got it today. I'm loving it, especially American rock & roll.

I guess I'm old school in that I still like to buy CD's mainly for the album covers. It's loaded into my library and onto my phone already, but I still like adding to my cd collection

I was positive this was going to be a joke thread for so many reasons.

If it looks good, you'll see it
If it sounds good, you'll hear it
If it's marketed right, you'll buy it
But...If it's real, you'll feel it

Didn't he start doing country music? If there's one thing I just can't get into it's country music. He was kinda cool before the musical switch though. I saw him live a couple times and he's a hell of a showman.

Sort of. I think it was more of Nashville embracing him and his style. A few of his songs had a tinge of country twang.

Not country...Southern Rock. In the spirit of Skynard and Marshal Tucker

Devil without a cause was decent. Everything since has been complete garbage.

As others stated, its more southern rock. He's mellowed out a bunch since his early days, but still my favorite artist. His last CD "first kiss" wasn't what I hoped it would be, but he bounced back with this one. A mix of rock, blues and southern rock. I love it
