I am off tomorrow. Let's play two tomorrow.

After all they're undefeated in doubleheaders. :)

True but the city of Detroit's a mess man. Constant construction. They'd be ****ed if they tried to add a roof to that stadium.

Bro. I'm talking about tarps. Tarps.

Salvy reminds me a lot of Sandy Alomar, Jr. I think the best catchers defensively were Bench, Pudge Rodriguez and Tony Pena. Best with the bat were Bench, Munson, Freehan, Tenace, and Fisk.

Kevin Costner was pretty good in Bull Durham.

No love for John Wathan?

gblowfish 04-23-2013 04:16 PM

Wathan was the fastest catcher, best at stealing bases. But he didn't have the arm or bat of these guys mentioned.

Darrell Porter was probably the best catcher prior to Salvy, although Sundberg was very good too.

Hourly forecast from weather.com indicates 0%, 15%, and 20% chance of rain for 7,8 and 9 o'clock respectively.

Wathan was really fast, for a catcher. /Fever

Detroit weather in motion seems to indicate a band of precipitation will hit after 9.

can't believe its about 70 in Detroit. We're barely above 40 in north Texas. I *****ing HATE rain delays and postponements.

Good. Let's have these shit bags beaten by then.

Strongside 04-23-2013 04:30 PM

I'm heading home from the office. I'll be back on when the beatdown commences.
