Vikings need a QB more than Direckshun needs to become the middle segment of a human centipede. Derek Carr is garbage, and I hate him almost as much as I hate Direckshun. I hate how all these mock drafts are putting him in the top 10. That's bullshit, and I'm not falling for it.

The Vikings added a great piece to their secondary in Captain Munnerlyn to help across from the dramatically improved Xavier Rhodes. Realistically they STILL could use a CB, and having their choice of the best one in the draft is tempting. But... consider who the coach is. Mike Zimmer is going to run a hybrid 3-4/4-3. He'll need a Michael Johnson in this defense. Chad Greenway is nice to have, but he's not really the playmaker the Vikings will need. So they'll take him here and hope the idiot CPers don't take 6 more QBs before the 8th pick in the 2nd round.
