Never cared much for the traditional classics, they're pretty and i appreciate the sentiment in them but most bore me.

I'm pretty much the opposite. Maybe it's the one lingering result of being raised in the church, but the only Christmas music I enjoy are the more traditional hymn-like numbers with God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen probably being my favorite. Numbers like Jingle Bell Rock or Do They Know it's Christmas make me want to kick babies.
