It's almost always something someone linked in the thread. And chances are you didn't "attacked by a virus," though you might've gotten a warning that there was suspicious content.

It's that box that pops up and says it just blocked some bad shit, and I should click to clean it up. I know better, so I turn off my computer. Now it's there as soon as I turn it on.

I fixed it with malwarebytes. This is huge for me. I'm normally a computard. I started it in safe mode and ran a scan with malwarebytes and it is better now.

I'd blame that Al Bundy clown.

I left my computer on CP last night and this morning I had some virus known as "Zeus". Not sure if I got it from CP but my provider threatened to shut down my internet if I dont get rid of it within 48 hours.

And this is why you only browse with your phone.
