Adobe Connect 9

I am being invited to a meeting on Adobe Connect 9 for tomorrow morning.

I'm a bit ****ed. I've got a built-in webcam on my HP notebook. I've even tested it on testwebcam.com and it's working like a dream.

But when I open the meeting room I was invited to (I was instructed to log in as a "guest"), this is what I see (attached below).

I see my name in the meeting room (which I've blocked out with a red rectangle. I've tested my audio and it's working. But I don't see my webcam video up at all.

Do I have to be permitted by the administrator of the meeting to get my webcam to start playing in this room? Or is there something that I can do individually to start it up if the administrator is not yet in the room?

Help, folks. Rep to all helpful answers. Questions welcome.

Just be honest, you're really trying to hook up on skype and all this "adobe connect" stuff is just a cover.

Webcams are probably blocked from the meeting because some people might look at it like a hookup on Skype (haha). In order to avoid Russian Roulette style chats it is just safer to keep people's web cams to themselves. It could be your web cam though. Either or.

I use adobe connect quite frequently and yes - the Meeting Host would need to enable video for all for you to see it.
