The animals were real version. And DiCaprio wasn't dreaming at the end of Inception.

Despite what my brain tells me, my heart chose to believe the animal version.

Loved it. Exceeded my expectations. One of the most visually brilliant films I've ever seen.

Spoiler!

Read the book, watched the movie.

Can legitimately say the movie is as good as the boo, which is rare

Agreed...difficult scene and you explained it perfectly. I wish I saw it in theaters but it was wonderful on Bluray.

My heart was removed during law school, leaving only my brain, so I'm with you...

The author has said that the ending was not meant to be a "twist". It was just an example of telling the same story differently, yet it became a huge talking point.

It's definitely different than any other movie I've seen.

My biggest problem with it is I now have a 3 year old having dreams about tigers.

That's not so bad. My four year old daughter at the time became so obsessed with Alex the Lion from the Madagascar movies that she began introducing herself as "Alex" when meeting new people.

The book is boring until he is in the ocean, then it's amazing. Pretty dull for the first 1/3-1/2 though.
