I have only read the first book, though. Really need to get on the ball. I think I'll read it again and then start reading the 2nd.

Spoiler!

Well, I hope it involves an acute case of herpes.

I tried to read the first novel years ago, but couldn't get into it. I have a limited taste in fantasy...Wolfe (arguably sci-fi but why quibble), Donaldson, and Tolkien.

After watching that, I think I'll give it another shot. I was impressed.

:hmmm:- Wasn't the midget the same guy who played Bijaz in Children of Dune?

****, next Sunday can't come soon enough.

I haven't but I certainly will.

The first episode was excellent. I'm hooked.

Gotta resist all these spoilers though, I'm always tempted to click.

I don't want to give anything away, but here's what I'll say:

You know how you felt when Jaime pushed the kid out the window, and you were like, "Holy shit! He just pushed a little kid out the window. What kind of sick bastard would write that kind of shit into a script? Worse... why do I find it so compelling?"

Prepare to feel that way a lot.

Don't do it. The twists in this, and I mean violent, HOLY SHIT! twists, should not be ruined. You'll just be cheating yourself.
