Former Iowa Hawkeye Andre Tippett will have a speaking part during the NFL draft next Friday.
The league announced Thursday it would have retired players announce their former teams’ second-round picks. Tippett, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will announce New England’s selection.
Barry Sanders (Detroit), Franco Harris (Pittsburgh) and Marshall Faulk (St. Louis) are also among the 29 former players.
