Anybody catch what Schefter just said?
He said something like don't be surprised if Charlie Weis isn't back in KC next year and then some stuff about Josh McDaniel. Anybody?

I saw it, laughed, and then wanted to ****ing puke.

Sounded like a bunch of BS speculation for fun. Can't see it. |

I missed it. But I dont see Weis going anywhere anytime soon.
& even if he did move on? Whose to say the next guy wont be better. |
He said not to be surprised if Weis isn't back, then mentioned that McDaniels is the guy that has gotten the most from Cassel in the past.
Implying that if Weis leaves, Josh's relationship with Pioli makes him the favorite to get the job. Did say the Haley-McD handshake issue would have to be resolved. |
McDumbass to KC? BULLSHIT I hope!
|
"don't be surprised if Charlie Weis doesn't return to Kansas City."
And some BS about McDaniels coming to KC as OC. Total speculation. |
Schefter is an idiot. I couldn't believe it when he said that.
|
The deal is done, Schefter.
|
He gave no substantiation for anyone to think that Weis might leave. He didn't even say whether Weis would leave for another job, or retirement or what.
|
I heard that and then he said "Josh McDaniels was also the guy that refused to shake Haleys hand". Which is obviously wrong and the other way around.
I cannot see a scenario outside of Weiss stepping down for health reasons (Charlie lives by me and frequents a locally owned pizza joint named All Star Pizza, and jesus that guy looks and eats unhealthy) that Pioli and Haley would even consider a switch at the offensive coordinator position. |

McDumbass got the most from Cassel because he adjusted the offense and ran the spread for 70% of plays. He did nothing to develop his skillset as an NFL pro set QB. |

Id love to see McDaniels in KC running the O if Weis leaves.
