No one said he was perfect but he IS an Elite QB playing with nobodies.

I was a little off on the 25 number...I thought Aaron Rogers got a little more.

Still, he got 22million per....10% more than Flacco and Ryan.

Harry Douglas is pleased about this:

Harry's criminally underrated as a 3rd/4th receiving option, IMO.

You failed to clarify that in your argument.

Rodgers clearly deserves every penny he receives

What does that have to do with Anquan Bolden?

Boldin didn't play for the Falcons.

He absolutely is elite. Period. Nobody has said otherwise.

Also never said Monday Ryan is. As to whether or not he deserves that money, absolutely. He's earned it with post play and likely future play. He didn't need all world talent around him to succeed as he's proven throughout his career.

Most importantly though, it's a supply and demand issue, and salaries rise for every position every year. They ride the coattails of the Brady's, Peyton's and Brees and Rodgers'some of the league. As does each each and every player who ever signs a contract. They(he and Flacco) just happen to be lucky enough to play the position with the most demand.

Post play? Are you saying post-season play?

2011: 2 points, which equals zero for the offense.
2012: No points scored in the second half of the NFC Championship game

One playoff win.

Well, I happen to believe that the Ravens and Falcons would be better off had they not paid $20 million per for two non-Elite QB's.

As I asked earlier, would both teams be the same or better off with Geno Smith/Mike Glennon and $18 million or so more in cap space moving forward than now?

To be fair, the Steelers are awful this year, and the Saints nearly gave up 30 to the Jets as well.

Personally, I think that's flawed, especially when guys like Flacco and Ryan (especially Ryan, taken at #3 overall) were already paid massive contracts.

Similarly, if Alex Smith wins a Super Bowl with the Chiefs by maintaining his current numbers and given a $20 million deal, I'd be livid.
