Yes, the 'Clean' light is blinking 7 times. Its a model 665.

Do you have a multimeter so you can check the heating element resistance? Easy to check and then replace if it is out of range. Of course it could be your wiring or connections.

This video is a fantastic resource... should get you covered.

If your dishwasher refuses to work, fire it with aids.

OK, after watching the video, here is what I would do if I were you..

#1 check the door latch to make sure both contacts are seating properly and free from obstructions/grime etc..

#2 measure the resistance on the heating element (not sure if this is possible without disassembly but worth a shot.. if the resistance is too low you know it is shot.. if it's too high you may need to measure it properly in step 4)

#3 make sure the water is circulating properly (sounds like it is according to what you're telling us but worth checking anyway.)

#4 Start in depth troubleshooting by taking things apart and checking all the wiring and connections and properly measuring the heating element.

Good luck.

Wow...nice. I'll poke around and see what I can do. I appreciate the effort--although I am a little disappointed you didn't just know all of the diagnostic codes and such just off the top of your head. I just expect that much of you.
