Has potential.

Ill catch it.

Hope it's better than District 9. I never did understand all the hype surrounding that movie. I mean, it was decent, but people raved about it like it was Blade Runner. Not even close.

I loved it. We dont get much "heady" sci-fi anymore from hollywood. Most of it is junk like Transformers or Battleship.

Blomkamp reminds me of a young James Cameron, with maybe a little more social commentary mixed in.

I've been looking forward to this since it was announced.

I always thought that Matt Damon was like a Streisand, but I think he's rockin' the shit in this

My first minor complaint with the movie -

How can you have people scavenging for food and water on an overpopulated world and have Damon looking like Baby Love Chunks?

I want to know how his hands are able to rip everything apart without destroying his fingers. Sure the exoskeleton makes him strong but it isn't attached to his fingers.

Yeah, he does sort of have that Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket thing going on. :D

considering it was a sci fi film that was only made on a 30 million dollar budget I'd say it was more than just decent. I thought it was one of the best films of 2009.

And I can't wait for Elysium.

the funny part is his character is actually dieing/deteriorating from radiation and you can still think that he looks like Baby Love Chunks
