100 high school seniors ejected from plane in NY
 

A New York school says they don't feel an AirTran flight crew was justified when they kicked a group of about 100 students and their chaperones traveling from New York to Atlanta off of a plane for alleged bad behavior...

People with bad behavior got kicked out of plane all the time. Except one student, Jonathan Zehavi told CNN he felt the students were targeted by the flight crew because they are Jewish.

So what the airline did is considered a hate crime?

Without reading the link and just commenting in general, why is it that anytime something happens to someone they always just say it is because of their race, religion, or sexuality? No one ever accepts or even entertains the thought that they just might be deserving of whatever came to them.
