FYI, Royals pick #17 in Today's MLB draft.

Tom Gordon's kid just got drafted by the Twins.

This draft broadcast could be the worst thing ever though.

White sox got Carlos Rodon...soon our rotation will be Sale, Quintana, Rodon. Will fill in 4 and 5.

I'd be concerned with Rodon's heavy workload in college though.

Looking forward to seeing your new pitcher.

Draft discussion? Who the **** talks baseball draft? It's all a big crapshoot. The 22nd rounder can end up being way better than the 1st rounder.

Then don't. I wasn't expecting more than a mention of who KC picked and maybe a little about him once they pick. Pretty much Royals or division picks- the rest is about as significant as analysis of the Expos picks.

Eh, it's more of along the lines of who the Royals select and what they are, vice versa. But yes, you're correct, the MLB draft is a major crapshoot.

It's a good thing IMO. Look at tanaka and all his innings pitched. Now it's different because he's 25 and in pro ball in Japan. But the idea is there. Pitch counts are bs really and the Sox pitching coach said the same thing.
