I will say that his performance in The Master this year was pretty incredible.

heh, honestly ive never seen the movie. Just making a joke. I actually like Affleck alot. Seems like a decent, very talented guy. He went through a bad patch there with the JLo/tabloid stuff, but he obviously bounced back pretty well.

i thought Beasts of the Southern Wild was the best movie of the year...but it was also too unconventional and had no real chance

Zero Dark Thirty was excellent as well, the whole controversy was nonsense...Bigelow is a fantastic director
