I agree this was about coaching philosophy. Haley said as much during the presser explaining Gailey was excused. He basically said Gailey is a good coach etc but their styles weren't mixing well.

Gailey sucks, but Haley has proven he has issues collaborating with other coaches.

Chan Gailey looks awful every other game with the Bills except when he plays the Chiefs. They beat our shit in. Looks like it will be that way next year as well unless Chan gets fired, which is very likely, and if that's the case the Bills will be drafting a QB. Good thing we pick ahead of them

but we will still have Pioli so we arent drafting a QB in the first round so why do I even hope.

I think it was the fact some coaches weren't following his directions. Pendergast, Gailey. It's becoming less credible to say Haley "couldn't get along with coaches".. especially the excuse "Weis was driven out" by Haley. If you have "proof", I'd certainly take a look. He certainly seems normal coaching the Steelers. Imo, Haley did what needed done in KC and what's happening now is directly related to that. This team is hot tubbin again.

Too bad he didn't fire Crennel.

No, he hasn't. He has proven he has issues collaborating with coaches forced upon him. What coach wants to work with someone who doesn't share their vision and undermines their authority? Not only coaches, but anyone? Haley was NOT the problem.

No coach succeeds without a legit starting caliber NFL QB.

Coaches make around a 20% difference in team performance...a qb can factor as much as 75% of the overall team performance including the defense.

I'd LOVE to have Gailey back...especially if we are developing a rookie qb. He is a PREMIER offensive coordinator.

We did a mock up of the passes from Fitzputrid. Chan's offense rarely throws over the middle. 90% of the passes are towards the sidelines. He is a stubborn ****ing asshole.
