It's at 40 seconds....if you really want to see it. It's crazy because he wasn't doing anything crazy....just running a route. Plus it was weird because it broke the opposite way you normally see a break.

The son of Detroit Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter Sr., Junior hauled in 71 catches for 1,235 yards and 14 touchdowns this past fall, leading Prosper (Texas) High (10-3) to the third round of the Class 4A Division II state playoffs. He's currently ranked the No. 21 wideout and No. 181 senior recruit nationally by Rivals.com.

Not only will Hunter Jr. miss Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but the Major League Baseball prospect likely won't return in time for his final prep baseball season. His recovery could take 6-8 months, his father told ESPN.

"He's a tough boy," said Torii Hunter Sr. "He's distraught right now, he's never had an injury before. I told him he'll bounce back. I know he will.

"He's seen me fight through injuries, so he knows it can happen. You just have to work hard."

I can't watch it. Breaking your femur is one of the worst possible things you can do. It's also potentially VERY dangerous.

Nothing looked bad from the video. He just went down. Freakish that it happened, but nothing looked horrible.

How about a compound fracture of one. I did that and it stuck out of my leg and looked like a broken splintered stick.

If it compounds through the femoral artery it gets dangerous.

Probably not wrong. Breaking your corpora cavernosa might be bad as well.

The way he put his foot down and his leg started bending....I thought he was going to hyper-extend his knee.....but then his lower leg just snapped. It was weird as hell.

Well, I hope you went to a doctor. They won't heal right if you just rub dirt on them and walk it off.

I mean, hell, if he can showboat and laugh while catching passes with one hand, then he certainly can make it all look easy and smile while running routes with one leg.
