Drop the field.

BTW, we're still in the hunt for Reeve Koehler, guess he wants to make an official visit to Arkansas. Interesting quote: "Lawrence Kansas to me, it was just a pretty shocking factor that it wasn't like Manhattan, Kansas. It was actually pretty nice. It felt pretty close to home".

I lol'd.

I have a good feeling about Reeve.

You also touted Crist for the Heisman, so to say your credibility is questionable would be a bit of an understatement.

A wide swath of wheat rows behind each team would look fabulous in the early fall. Light westerly breezes and waving wheat? Seems a natural fit.

:spock:

WTF are you talking about? In early fall the wheat would be:
1. Harvested

Or

2. If unharvested, lodged, bleached and shattered so bad, it would look like shit.

Good try at a bad joke. But ultimately a fail.

I am in awe of them and respect them greatly...

I recall posting Vegas odds that had Crist listed as a top 20 Heisman favorite.

I don't recall posting anything about Dayne Crist winning such award.

Many other players were listed in the Vegas odds that I posted.

Leave you ****ing weirdo.

This sounds exactly like what the Grainfield, KS WTI's would have said. Okay, instead, they could plant plugs of a Pampas grass. Bends in the wind just like wheat.

I was a NE KS. rancher/feedlot/4h aggie. Buehler is obviously a seed /irrigation/CRP/ Disaster area/drought aggie/ (with a possible 4h tag).

Much like last year, I'm just wanting to see improvement on the field. I felt like the team took steps in the right direction last year that just didn't end up meaning a win.

I'd just like to see them get over the hump.....win the games they should, steal a game they shouldn't, be competitive in the games they lose. 5 wins would be a decent season for me. Hoping for a bowl game is, in my opinion, asking a bit much. But anything is possible.

Sweet thread. Hopefully better mojo than mine.

James Sims lead the Big 12 in rushing. Things are def going in the right direction. Can't wait for spring ball.

Dayne Crist won the MVP of some all star game today where Dick Vermiel was the coach.
