I got more spark at SD last season. SRSLY, this crowd is on autopilot. You can't get anything out of them without promp on the PA.

BigMeatballDave 10-03-2012 09:56 PM

Somewhere, Carl Peterson is laughing his ass off...

Dayze 10-03-2012 09:57 PM

But the tailgating...and we're the loudest in the nfl!!!

Dayze 10-03-2012 10:00 PM

That article sums it up

RealSNR 10-03-2012 10:03 PM

Have you renewed your season tickets yet? Time is running out!

Bugeater 10-04-2012 12:41 AM

Meh, crowd noise in the NFL is largely overrated anyway. I don't believe it has that much effect on the outcome of a game.

Not anymore, anyways.

Yeah, but... there's also this: Dating back to '07, the Chiefs are 14-28 at Arrowhead in the regular season, a home winning percentage of .333 -- the worst in the AFC during that stretch of five-plus seasons. And since the start of the 2011 campaign, Kansas City has dropped seven of 10 at home. It gets worse: The first two visitors to 1 Arrowhead Drive in 2012, Atlanta and San Diego, have outscored the locals by a combined score of 77-44.
heh

It's about time for you to get "Black Bobbed"

I can count on 1 hand the times Arrowhead has been truly loud in the last 10 yrs.

2003 Playoff game vs. Colts
2006 Thanksgiving Night NFLN debut game vs. Broncos
2010 Monday Night Football Game vs. Chargers

The SF game in '06. It was a fun day that day.

Last weekend I saw a guy tailgating out of his Escalade wrap his jalapeno poppers in turkey bacon. Just not the same out there.

I was at that game.....wasn't that loud....I'm talking REALLY (90's) loud.

That game in no way compared to the 3 I listed.

KC_Lee 10-04-2012 08:03 AM

It used to be deafining in Arrowhead, now...sigh...

The fact you bought it at Crate and Barrel says it all. ;)

Ha, actually my wife bought it for me as a gift, but I do get the occasional "sushi eating homo" look from the Camero crowd whenever I bust it out in the parking lot.

Honestly, if I'm wrapping in bacon I like to cut the pepper in half and lay them horizontal on the grill/smoker. That grill rack is nice for those mini bell peppers they sell at Costco.

Predarat 10-04-2012 08:13 AM

Even when the Chiefs are doing well now the stupid ass User Nazis and Gestapo Security Guards will make you sit down and be quiet even when the Cheifs are on D.

"(The Chiefs) had one playoff year (2010), and they got spanked by Baltimore (in the postseason) pretty bad," Burke notes. "That season was pretty random. They were lucky. They had a weak schedule. They weren't really that good. Overall, consistently, they've been a pretty subpar team."

Nailed it.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-04-2012 08:24 AM

I literally get sick to my stomach when I see that Home W-L record. All started with Herm wearing whites against the Bungles :#

The first game cassel gets benched.

The football crowd was also very loud at the celebrity all star game.
