I can't wait until somebody revives Golden Girls with the original actors.

Seriously, how mean can the old fart be now?

Deberg_1990 07-09-2011 06:35 AM

Flop.....does anybody want to see this???

It's retro, did we need a 90210 reboot, no but we got one and has been marginally successful (with it's core audience). It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It sounds like J.R. and Sue Ellen will be more like Jock Ewing and Miss Ellie in the original series, and the show will actually revolve around John Ross and Christopher. If they do it right, it could be good. John Ross and Christopher could have all the conflict, while J.R, Bobby and Sue Ellen are in it to play the older generation that still lives at South Fork.

If they do it like the Dallas reunion movies, it won't be good. Especially the one that had the devil in it. That one was brutal.

I plan to give it a chance. I was a huge Dallas fan back in the day.

Oops, it was actually the series finale, which was a takeoff from It's a Wonderful Life. J.R. was contemplating suicide, and the devil appeared and showed J.R. what everybody's life would be like if J.R. had never been born.

It was a goofy series finale.

Glad I didn't stick to the series to the end then.

There was a cool movie back in the 80's they made that showed a young Miss Ellie and Jock, etc....and how they met. It was basically Dallas: The Beginning.....

Never saw it again...probably not as good as i remember it.
