1986 Chiefs = 2010 Chiefs

Yep. Shitty QB on a team that made the playoffs but was clearly a fraud. History is repeating itself.

Look at these studs in the 1986 playoffs:

RealSNR 03-19-2011 08:51 PM

A lockout happened the season following, too, didn't it?

Freaky.

RealSNR 03-19-2011 08:52 PM

Wait... shit... nevermind

You're right on, except Kenney and Blackledge split starts down the middle, and neither was impressive, and the leading rusher was a 32 year old retread that had 448 yards rushing. But other than that, you're on to something.

That team won on defense and special teams, and Albert Lewis may have been the greatest special teams player ever.

If you'd stop trying to pretend to be an insightful sports fan, and just go back to being a board troll, you'd be a lot more successful.

Baby Lee 03-19-2011 11:03 PM

1. Dino Hackett was so deserving of my adolescent adoration.

2. [But much more pressing] Tony Romo: Hollywood; Matt Cassel: Dollywood.
