NFL.com poll: Which running back will lead the NFL in rushing yards this season?

Interesting poll. I thought Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson would dominate. But fans think someone else will lead the NFL in rushing yards. Maybe Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones combined can help the Chiefs have the number one running game this season, maybe top five. They've got a bad schedule. But I doubt one or the other will lead the league in rushing unless someone gets hurt early on and it becomes a one man show.

It caught me off by surprise that the 'other' choice out voted CJ and AP.

As of 8:00 AM CST

4%--Steven Jackson
26%--Chris Johnson
5%--Maurice Jones-Drew
25%--Adrian Peterson
10%--Ray Rice
30%--Somebody else

Doesn't really surprise me. Homers will vote for their teams RBs so you have Charger fans thinking Matthews will lead the NFL, bills fans thinking spiller will, Bengals fans thinking Benson will, etc. So they all vote "other".

Looks like 30% of the overall voters are homers who didn't have a rb from their team as an option...

I bet you voted about 600 times for "other"

Ill bet anything board related that Jamaal has a more productive year than Knowshon.

I will have to watch the preseason first. That is when I make all of my predictions.

Knowshon was late getting into camp and also hurt his knee in the first preseason game. He missed a lot of reps last year and all of the beat writers say that he looks impressive.

**** preseason...Ill even give you a injury out. If either back misses more than 4 games, bets off.

lift up your skirt, grab your balls and stand behind your bs for once, or just be a pussy.

Backs don't really need camp and all that shit. It's an instinctive position. That's why rookies can come in and play at a high level right away. Knowshon is going to be incredibly average.

BossChief 06-23-2010 07:29 AM

If you put Charles behind the line Denver backs ran behind last year and he might have gone for 2000. KCs line sucked and he blew up.

ALL

OVER

INVESCO!!!

Can I get in on some of this action? JC will outrush Moreno by 500 yards on the season.

Dude doesn't even have the sack to make one bet to back his foolish claims, let alone multiple ones.

Denver will have a new LG and C this year plus Clady might be out. I also want to see how Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal look. I also don't know if McD plans on using Tebow. If McD runs a lot of wildcat this year Knowshon should have a monster season.

No predictions/bets until I see two or three preseason games.
