You can pick up a new one at walmart for that. It will make noises when the pump kicks on, but not the type of noises you are thinking.

For $50 drive over to my house and pick up the one in my garage.

[edit] It's black, not a scratch or dent on it, and the inside is in pristine condition as well. I haven't used it for anything other than running up the electrical bill for about a year, so I finally unplugged it about a month ago. [/edit]

I have a Haier for my office. It's a pretty good sized one and I think I got it all Walmart for less than 100. Very quiet...I never hear it kick on.

We have a Danby in our office. I've never heard of the brand, but it's worked great for five years and I've never heard a whisper out of it. We bought it at Office Depot or Target or someplace, and it was about $100 back then.

Why don't we have a "For Sale" forum on here?

I have a knee brace for sale.

We bought ours 3 years ago at Costco. I think it's a Samsung. Yes, Chinese crap. But we've been happy with it.

I happen to still have that pack of seitz olive loaf (but all of the olives have been picked out)

So essentially it is just Bologna w/ holes.

Hell, all you managed to do to that bum was take off one leg. I'm not scared. :harumph:

You could probably get a really good one at wal-mart for that 150. You could always look in the for sale classifieds and find a cheaper one.

I have a motor scooter if you're interested, mr. snow

I picked one up at Sears a couple of years ago for my den. Don't remember what I paid, but I'm sure it was around that price range. I have to defrost it every so often, but it certainly doesn't make any noise.
