Dallas Fans are ready to join the Anti-Pioli revolution

Just like the Irish joined William Wallace to fight the british in BraveHeart, your fellow Chiefs fans living in Dallas are ready to join the revolution. Clark can avoid the banners in KC but he cant avoid flyers and signage in his own backyard.

I am ready to post flyers from Chiefs Fans in Dallas for the firing of Pioli. Wherever Clark goes in Dallas, and it is legal to do so, a sign/flyer can be there as a constant reminder that Chiefs fans will not stop until this current government is overthrown.

My Dallas peeps whose with me?

outstanding! I'd like to get the largest fanbase in KC Metro good and riled up but am not opposed to having some sort of campaign in Hunt's back yard.

I only wonder if the message will be lost amidst the wash of Cowboys, 5INT Romo, hatred at the moment. lol

Well the message will be geared mostly towards the National Media. I'll take pictures of the posterboard and signage in Dallas and send it to National Media and Twitter Sports Media figures. They will report "Fans are so ready for a change they are taking it straight to the owners backyard in Dallas"

Timing is crucial, I'll wait for the banner to go by and see what you have planned for Phase Two in KC. Then we will hit em in both places at once. Clark won't be able to escape our (the fans) cloud.

Fantasy: Packing my Chiefs t-shirt and Tony G.-autographed ballcap into my regulation Riddell Chiefs helmet, dousing it all in gasoline, rolling up on Clark's Highland Park mansion, igniting the gear and hurling it through the front window into his living room (and then hightailing it back north of 635). He's allowing the franchise --- his team --- burn down on his watch.

Reality: In the incredibly unlikely event that I would ever run into him down here, I would politely introduce myself as a transplanted Kansas Citian who has been a lifelong fan and offer my unsolicited advice that he give somebody else the chance to be general manager (which would likely result in better drafting, head coach picking and starting QB issues).

If you end up going ahead with the flyers, watch out for those HP police officers; they'll probably ticket you for littering ...

Contact Chiefs fans of Dallas on this...I know they'd be down.

Dude thats awesome, minus the pic of Clark, we could def do something similar. If anyone in Dallas has marketing contacts, see what the price is for a one month billboard rental. We are strong in numbers.

If we put up a billboard like this in DALLAS-it will be ALL OVER national media.

This fanbase is the best by far, we demand better.

The key would be to get the billboard off Live Oak and 75.. it would have the most exposure to people who work with and around Clark.

My small town in South Dakota is covered. I've already told all the KC fans, both my brother and my best friend, and we've all agreed we support this. I printed out 6 wallet sized pictures of that billboard and put them on the table at the coffee shop. They will be seen by most of the town there.

A regular billboard in Kansas City/St. Louis/Denver for example would be around $4500 per month. Metroplex would be higher than that I would assume.

How many ChiefsPlanet members are there, #1. How much would we each have to donate #2. It's doable, considering all of our facebook friends that arn't CP members that are as disgruntled as us. I feel like we bitch and bitch locally on the sports talk stations, but it has little impact on CLARK. He needs to be embarrassed. I'm in!

I lurk every day and never post. Let you all fight amongst yourself. But I for one, am tired of this bullshit. I hate feeling taken advantage of and as a fan of the Chiefs, that's exactly how I feel. I feel eerily like the Chiefs are turning into the Royals. I feel like Clark is a shadow of David Glass. All talk and no substance. I don't understand why it is so difficult to hire a legitimate head coach. Besides that fact that he might have some demands, like a QB that has a ****ing clue. We haven't even been competitive in 4 of 4 games... The Saints shit their pants and lost one of the best coaches in th league. We are F'd in two areas that are directly responsible of the GM. QB and HC.... We need to matriculate the organazation down the field.

LMAO Amazing.

DallasChief 10-03-2012 09:46 PM

Its a big number when you think of it as a solo cost. But its not, its a group cost, divided by those who bleed Chiefs red.

Think of all the money you spent last season alone. Hell, just me-IN DALLAS

200+ for Sunday Ticket
The cost to go to a Chiefs bar in Dallas (Wizards) food costs there, drink costs, + tip
The cost on random Chiefs gear throughout the season, a jersey here and there, a cool Chiefs shirt for the wife-random Chiefs accessories(mugs, etc...)

If you look at it that way, we are already paying for a horrible product because of our passion.

Lets steer that passion towards funding something that will actually cause a change in the Chiefs organization-the media attention alone is worth it-I promise NO OWNER wants to be blasted all over the news w/flyover banners and billboards in his own city that make him look bad. Every persons ego gets clocked in at some point.

Money on Chiefs throughout the year you spend and they give you 6-10 at best? WASTED

Money on Chiefs throughout the year spent on something that makes the team better in the long run? PRICELESS

DonkeyTamer 10-03-2012 09:48 PM

Another outside of the box idea.

What if you send the banner down to Dallas for a weekend. We can take it to an FC Dallas game-have a few of us stretch it out in the stadium in the crowd long enough to get photos of it during the game. Clark owns FC Dallas.

Tweet the pictures all over national media, espn, etc... CHIEFS FANS STRIKE IN OWNERS BACKYARD AT FC DALLAS GAME-I guarantee you there IS NO WAY HUNT wants any part of angry Chiefs fans at his precious FC DALLAS safeground, the message will be loud and clear. His distaste for Pioli, if not yet, will strengthen-to know Pioli is getting in the way of his soccer matches--ooooooweeeee...and the national media attention will be lovely.

PIOLI CANT HOLD US.

I think in the Metroplex you have to say "Hunt Family" in anything you do. While its Clark we want, you embarrass the whole family change will come alot quicker.

If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.
