Go to Cinci or Denver?

Assuming we make the #6 seed, which city would you rather go to Cincinatti or Denver?

Cincy. Payback for 9-1.

We don't know that much about the BenGals.

I would rather take my chances with Denver....the victory would be soooo much sweeter.

cinci. it's still the bengals y'all.

Nothing would be more satisfying than ending the Donkies season at Denver.

Chiefnj 12-06-2005 10:56 AM

Denver.

Hammock Parties 12-06-2005 11:01 AM

Playing in Denver is still far more daunting IMO. Cincy's defense is not that great. 20th overall and 24th against the run. Give me Cincy.

CoMoChief 12-06-2005 11:10 AM

we could still get a WC even if we win out at 12-4, unbelievable...

Denver loses to SD during their last 4 games to make them 12-4, they have tie breaker over division over us due to more wins over common opp. Am I right about the tiebreaker? Im not too sure can someone varify this?

Common Opp.
MIA-L...........KC-W
BUF-?...........KC-L
NE-W...........KC-W
NYJ-W..........KC-W
SD-W,?........KC-L,?
WSH-W........KC-W
NYG-L...........KC-?
DAL-W........KC?
PHILLY-W.........KC-L
OAK-W,W.........KC-W,W

DEN(so far)8-2 KC(so far)6-3

So is the only way for us to win the division is to win out and DEN to lose to SD? If they go 1-1 for the rest of the common opponents games they will be 9-3, if we out our common opp. games we are also 9-3, so happens after that? Do conference games come into effect? Because if Denver loses to SD ,then beats BUF then we are both 6-2 in the AFC. Im kinda confused now BTW.

Here is a reality question for you. Who has Cincy beat this year with a winning record?

I would rather take my chances beating a team that is possibly way over hyped.

We will know who the real Bungals are in three weeks.

patteeu 12-06-2005 12:10 PM

Cincinatti in the first week to avenge the end of the 9-0 streak.

Denver in the second week to keep them without a playoff win in the post-Elway era and to avenge our playoff loss in 97.

Indy in the championship game to avenge the 95 and 03 playoff loses.

Other than coming back and winning the division, this would be the perfect playoff run.

.

Pitt, Chicago and Minnesota?

htismaqe 12-06-2005 12:18 PM

I predicted this weeks ago.

In 1997, 11-5 Denver defeated 13-3 KC on their way to their first Super Bowl win.

This year, 11-5 KC will defeat 13-3 Denver, on their way to a Super Bowl win.

:D
