This just shows again about the lack of leadership and discipline on this team.

Why is the team in a position in which they have to play 3rd stringers in the secondary? Could have been prevented....

Not with this leadership in charge...

What he said is true. We played our best game of the year and barely beat a bad Panthers team at home. This team is what it is.

Romeo was not meant to be a coach in the nfl.

In the end, two bad teams played excellent football on one day. If either team plays that way throughout the year, they'd be going to the playoffs. So to make the point that the Chiefs played great but still barely won is silly in my opinion, because it assumes that Carolina played the crappy game that their record indicates they should have played...

To go along with that I see what are the good teams in the league squeek out wins all the time against inferior teams. So yeah it's a pretty lame take.

Carolina:

Lost to Tampa Bay 16-10
Lost to Atlanta 30-28
Lost to Seattle 16-12
Lost to Dallas 19-14
Lost to Chicago 23-22
Lost to Tampa Bay 27-21

Yeah, obviously Carolina is a horrible team that gets blown out every time they play a playoff bound team.

I think Trent has taken a lot more blows to the head than anyone realized. It seems to have reduced his IQ to about the same level as many of the Chiefsplanet posters.

uber-conservative game plan usually means every game can be won/lost by just a few plays.

same concept with Martyball

still can't cover a tightend

BUT , If we had played this way all season we'd be 8-4 right now. We barely lost to Baltimore & Pittsburgh with all the turnovers and penaltys

No but we gave it a shot though.

Never to early to make fun of a murdering piece of crap...

Trent is a legend, but he gets that Gruden blindness thing going on sometimes in the booth.

bobbything 12-05-2012 04:28 PM

Actually, Trent Green wasn't the one who said that; it was Kietzman who brought it up. Green just elaborated on it.
