*RUMOR* Jeff Fisher to Dolphins

Fisher could make decision to join Dolphins on Wednesday

By Michael Lombardi NFL Network

Jeff Fisher is close to making a decision on his coaching future, according to sources close to the ex-Titans coach, and it appears he will chose the Miami Dolphins.

Fisher could make a decision as early as Wednesday, the sources indicated.

The Dolphins and St. Louis Rams have been waiting on a decision from Fisher, who interviewed with both franchises last week.

Sources said Fisher wants no part of a potential relocation and feels more comfortable with the structure in place in Miami than St. Louis.

GoFisher is a Dolfan now.

ESPN Radio DID NOT report Fisher hired by #Dolphins. That is absolutely false.

ESPN760's Ken LaVicka

Rumors spread quickly that ESPN760 was reporting Fisher to Dolphins. Everyone in the media and the team have come out and said, it's not true. There is no press conference scheduled right now, and no news on Fisher has come out.

All the Romeosexuals will wish that Fisher was in KC after the Herm-like fail that Romeo is about to drop on KC.

Fisher is a medicore coach that will get 10-12 years of medicrity before anyone even thinks about a change.

Romeo Crennel will get 2 years of suck before he's fired.

I like option number 2 a hell of a lot better than option number 1.

At least I will have some hope to look forward to a hell of a lot sooner.

Jeff Fisher is “legitimately torn”

The latest Jeff Fisher update is that there is no update.

But we’ve noticed a torrent of third-hand speculation and some incorrect reports on Twitter Wednesday that he was joining the Dolphins, so we wanted to address the issue.

Jay Glazer of FOX gives us the excuse to dive in.

“Those close to Fisher said he’s legitimately torn and going back and forth. He’s swung from Rams back toward Fins then back again and now back,” Glazer writes.

Apparently Fisher is the new Favre. (If he does this for another three months.) Perhaps Fisher is waiting to see what happens in Indianapolis?

“Fins thought they were out of it this weekend. Rams thought he was coming there. He went to visit Rams, things changed,” Glazer wrote.

If we are reading Glazer correctly, Fisher is leaning towards Miami. That’s what an NFL.com report indicated earlier Wednesday. SI.com wrote something similar. Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald says a “highly placed” Dolphins source doesn’t know what Fisher will do.

Fisher hasn’t made up his mind. He has a lot of friends in the media. When he decides, we’re sure to find out quickly.
