Saints said the Broncos have requested permission to interview DC Gregg Williams for Denver's HC job.

Apologies if repost. I cant remember if he was a head coach before, but it would be neat to see someone from my hometown get a head coach gig again, even if it is for the enemy.

I don't really know enough about his history to really have an opinion on how good he'd be. I just like him in general (local guy and all) and would hate for him to go to the enemy.

The only thing I know about him is that he was a HC with the Bills, was the HC in waiting in DC(but Snyder fired him) and left Jax after one year after Sean Payton took a pay cut to lure him to New Orleans. The way the defense imploded against the Seahawks is not a good thing.

He coached the Bills from 2001-2003, and had a 17-31 record.
