Loochy, I have found out this is I PC thread, therefore there should be no profiling in this thread.

My brother and his family live across the river, and neither were near the explosion when it happened. He's telling me that people are all pretty shaken.

There's a lot of Muslims in Boston. If this is terrorism, this is very, very bad. Could mean another ten years of war.

Fair enough.

Though I suspect we'll find out soon whether this was domestic terrorism, as OKC was, or foreign, as 9/11 was.

Whoever they are, I hope they DIAF.

There's alot of everything in Boston. It's nowhere near the size of NYC or anything, but it's incredibly diverse.

You're right though -- if this gets tracked to some specific country...

I am not sure which would be worse. Domestic I suppose.

While your joke is a bit early to be tasteful, I appreciate the clever use of history.

For those of you who are like "umm, WTF is he talking about", he's referring to the Boston Molasses Disaster, which killed a couple dozen and wounded over a hundred.

Interesting. I'd never heard of that.

Latest from CNN is below. if they had timed it to happen as the early runners were crossing the finish line, I'm sure the casualties would have been much worse.

Boston (CNN) -- A pair of explosions rocked the finish line at the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon, injuring at least a half-dozen people, a CNN producer at the scene said.

The blasts occurred a few seconds apart, shrouding downtown Boston's Copley Square in smoke. Paramedics were treating several victims at the scene, and police ordered onlookers to back away from the area, CNN Producer Matt Frucci reported.
The explosions occurred about 2:45 p.m., about an hour after the first runners had crossed the finish line, Frucci said.

It was probably one of those damn "Southies" like Damon or Affleck

I can see Buckner finding the fuse in time to save the day only to have it go through his legs as Ray Knight comes around to score.
