This deserves its own thread at this point. Both major forecast models are calling for 8+ inches of snow in the KC metro again.

I dont like either lol. Snow is fun when its snowing. Afterwards its just shit.

Check out the flow from the Gulf of Mexico from Louisiana into the storm system. This will be another unusual set-up for us with tremendous amounts of low level moisture available for the storm. This storm will likely produce near blizzard conditions where it is snowing and severe thunderstorms farther south. There could be tornado watches and Blizzard warnings just about a state apart.

Why do they feel compelled to name winter storms now? We've turned into a bunch of pussies. It's snow, wind, and cold. Winter.

We got 10" in CoMo yesterday. It looks like this is right on the razor's edge of hitting or missing us.

The Weather Channel naming storms is so lame. I missed back when they just reported the weather instead of trying to turn it into entertainment.

Naming them evidently equates to ratings which equals money. Annoying as shit but it is what it is.
