From his rating and what I've heard he is a probable starter. They're comparing him to Gronkowski.

Apparently not. If the pick wasn't a QB then it was going to be a bad pick in the opinion of most here.

Some would rather draft a QB to sit the bench the next few years than a TE that will most likely play a lot this year.

Only a few people have mentioned QB.

Would you rather take a chance on a blocking TE or on a linebacker that can play next to DJ? Or hell, even a runningback to spell Charles.

We have holes at Guard and Defensive Tackle?

What the hell are Geoff Schwartz, Jeff Allen, Jon Asamoah, and Dontari Poe then?

Can you tell us why drafting a blocking TE is a good move with the first pick of the 3rd? I'm all ears.

Uhh, the guy can catch the ball a wee bit too it just so happens he's a pretty good blocker as well.

But they weren't investments at the most important position.

By the time we make one, one of the best prospects in this draft (Barkley) will be off the board.

I full expect the Chiefs to invest in Tyler Wilson in the next two picks, however.

Yeah. I'm iffy. Really wanted Geno in round 1.thought Barkley was a no Brainer at 3. At this point, if a safe QB drops this low, that concerns me. At this point, I want the project guy, which is dysert.

I don't hate the pick. They aren't taking Barkley. They obviously don't like him. I don't think Fasano or Moeaki = TE covered. I'll be surprised if Moeaki plays 8 games this year.

OMG THE CHIEFS ARE SO STUPID FOR TRYING TO WIN NOW WITH ALEX SMITH!!!

(Chiefs take the best player available)

OMG THE CHIEFS ARE SO STUPID FOR NOT DRAFTING TO FILL AN IMMEDIATE NEED!!!

My issue is that ChiefsPlanet's value as a source for good Chiefs news and discussion is rapidly falling. It's nothing but bitching and unsubstantiated posturing anymore.

Anyway, carry on with the bitching. People seem to love it I guess.

And if I could shave 20 strokes off my golf game I could be on the Hooters tour.

At this point I am trusting Dorsey and the "BPA" strategy. Until I see it not prove out we have no reason to doubt the people running this draft right now.

Pasta Little Brioni 04-26-2013 06:58 PM

Compared to Gronk. Good reciever/blocker.....CP acts like he's Jason Dunn. You can't make this up.

You think this is good? Really?

YOU WANT MATT BARKLEY?!? You are a ****ing idiot! The kid blows shit. He's Sanchez x2 with a hint of Cassel in him. This TE is gonna help us in the run gsme, while the other 2 are passing.
