It's going to start happening to a lot of companies.

It's the George Soros 'European Model' - part of government consolidation.

It's okay...the government will soon issue replacements.

This is a solid draw for Michelle Obama (Hates sweets, loves unions) and a flawless vitory for Mayor bumberg in New York.

I want to believe that they were "overcapacity" because demand for that crap is dying, but I don't think that's the case.

Here is a good story about it...

Yeah, the whole ****ing thing is a disaster, but hopefully it will lead to some real changes in collective bargaining.

What person over the age of 12 wants to eat that shit, anyway? Have just a little bit of respect for yourself. That shit is nasty.

This is a prime example why the new "normal" unemployment rate is going to be 6-7%, not the 3-4% that we have previously been used to. Low-income workers are going to be more content to just say fuck it and take unemployment for years on end instead of taking less to keep an undesirable job.

Our welfare system essentially incentivizes this attitude, and US taxpayers will pay for it.

Great article from Fortune on the Hostess saga.

This is terrible timing.

States are beginning to legalize recreational marijuana and now Hostess is going out of business?

Frito Lay stocks just went up.

Federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation Benefits expires next month. Depending on the state, people are only going to get like 6 months of benefits.
