Reminds me kind of last off season when the franchise had a great opportunity to take a step forward but instead went backwards while Clark sat back and didn't do shit.

I don't think Pioli being here next year or not impacts the decision to draft a QB. With all the shit that's happened this year and the embarrassing play from all the QBs I think Clark will pull rank and go all Jerry Jones with the QB situation.

At the end of the day it's a business. If Scott is making as much money for Clark that some reported, then his job might be safe. A new QB will give the fans some faith. They will come back to the stadium and Scott can keep the coins rolling.

It's a business, and billionaires care about money. You know what else billionaires care about? Image. Right now the Chiefs are the laughingstock of the NFL. They're an embarrassment that reflects directly upon Clark. He's got to be seething.
