Vin Diesel Says He'll Be Back For Third 'xXx' Film
Erik Pedersen When Vin Diesel talks on social media, people listen. The action star who has 95 million Facebooks likes announced via Instagram that he is doing a third installment of the xXx franchise, with filming set to start before year’s end. This would be Diesel’s first return the decade-dormant franchise since 2002’s original xXx, when he starred as extreme-sports athlete who is blackmailed into becoming a government operative Xander Cage. He sat out the second pic in the series, 2005’s xXx: State Of The Union, in which Ice Cube starred. Now, apparently, Diesel is poised to return: xXx made $142 million domestic on the heels of the original Fast And The Furious. And of course, Diesel is running hot again with Furious 7 becoming the fifth-biggest movie of all time worldwide. No cast or director is set for xXx3, but Rob Cohen helmed the original and Lee Tamahori the sequel. Revolution released both. Diesel says filming is slated to begin on the threequel in December in the Philippines. Stay tuned. |
Call me a dumbass but I liked the first one. Especially the part where the big Russian guy says "BITCHES COME"
Still use that line to this day |
I like it the way I like Con Air.

No thanks.

"Moral is: don't be a dick, Dick!"
I loved the first one, although it came out when I was 12 so that's to be expected. Problem is, Diesel is old and fat now. |
I enjoyed the original and have it on DVD. Vin, Asia Argento and Martin Csokas are all really fun to watch.
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury is good, too. |
Will Ice Cube return as well?
|
I thought they killed off the Xander Cage character. I could be wrong but I though I heard Samuel L Jackson's character telling Ice Cube's character that the previous xXx was killed in Bora Bora or some shit.
|
I wonder if Rammstein will get another shot at it, as well?

They did but we never see him die on-screen so they can easily undo that. |
I have not seen either of the previous films (and didn't know there was a second one). I suppose I'll sit this one out.
