Maybe someone like Joe Nemechek should run one so we could see it. For a lap or two, anyway.

I understand payback, but not when it takes a contender out of the championship race. That is something you would expect from a shitbag like Kyle Busch not a 4 time champion. Good to see the 29 in the winners circle though~

Demonpenz 11-11-2012 10:09 PM

That was aweful by the 24. What the hell was the point.

GloryDayz 11-11-2012 10:44 PM

Every driver should take turns rubbing Boyer into the wall next year.

LMAO

Ricky Craven was saying that drivers keep everything like that in their mind, They always know who wrecked them.

Dylan 11-12-2012 12:18 AM

I have never seen crews go after another driver...Crews went after Jeff Gordon – They attacked him. Gordon is somewhere under that big pile. Then crews piled up on Clint Bowyer … Wow! LOL

Excerpt: Brad Keselowski steamed in Phoenix

Fans may look back at the fights and crashes that occurred as entertaining, such as the 1979 Daytona 500 that ended with Cale Yarborough and the Allison brothers getting into a fistfight in the infield grass.

But this went beyond entertaining. It was, as Keselowski said repeatedly, "absolutely ridiculous."

Pick your moment. There was the wreck between Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon fighting over fifth place, and the ensuing melees -- first between Gordon and Bowyer's crew on pit road and then between Bowyer and Gordon's crew in the garage.

There was NASCAR's decision to throw a quick caution just before Harvick took the white flag for what should have been the win for the sake of a green-white-checkered finish.

There was NASCAR's decision to let the race continue with the frontstretch covered in oil and Danica Patrick's car spun out in the middle, resulting in a multicar wreck in which Keselowski barely got through for his sixth-place finish.

It was so out of control that winning owner Richard Childress went to the NASCAR hauler after the race to complain that Harvick should have won before the green-white-checkered finish.

There was so much going on that Jimmie Johnson blowing a tire on Lap 236 of what turned out to be a 319-lap race to give up the points lead -- and probably the title -- was almost an afterthought.

"I'm more just disappointed in the quality of racing that we saw today," Keselowski said. "I thought it was absolutely ridiculous, and I was ashamed to be a part of it."

But that wasn't on his mind or anybody else's after Sunday's finish, which looked like the last lap at Talladega.

It was particularly personal to Keselowski because only a week ago at Texas defending Cup champion Tony Stewart said he had a "death wish" for racing Johnson so hard over the final laps.

"It's the double standard that I spent a whole week being bashed by a half a dozen drivers about racing hard at Texas and how I'm out of control and have a death wish, and then I see bulls--- like that," Keselowski said, his voice growing louder.

"That's all you can call that. These guys just tried to kill each other. You race hard and I get called an a------ for racing hard and called with a death wish, and I see s--- like that, and it just pisses me off.

Keselowski paused to say he wasn't yelling as his voice grew louder and louder.

"It's just … ridiculous, and they should be ashamed," he continued. "It's embarrassing."

My thoughts:

* Until somebody reviews the tapes to see what set a normally calm JG off, why are we talking about this. The problem with sports is that we only adjudicate the effect, never the cause. So good for you Jeff, the world knows Boyer and you finally did something about it!

* Boyer is a poser sissy! He runs all the way to Jeff's trailer (like a he-man), then one person stops him on the ramp from getting to his target???!!! LOL, nice play for the cameras and your fans Clint. You pussy! Come to Lees Summit and show me some of the he-man shit! Candy ass; go do your nails!

* Clint said he was surprised?!!! We all are, you pi55ed off a real driver! But you sure did deserve it sooooooo much. But NASCAR will take it out on Jeff; you're awesome you coward. Get some More) bondo and STFU! In fact, get a case, you're going to need it! If there's a God, next year each driver will put you into the wall and say Ooooops.

* NASCAR loves this. They need this! So they'll hand-out their fines then high-five each other when next week's rating are all the better for the press Jeff gave them.

* And in a sport that has little way of knowing if an accident is an accident, they had better get with the drivers and figure out how to deal with driving that's past the limit, how to tell when it is, and what to do about it before drivers feel they need to take matters into their own hands like this.

* Team driving and championship strategies could play into a lot of "bigger picture" issues in the sport, so sans honesty, what makes two drivers who might want somebody to win to not think team and pinch a points or race leader? We're seeing more of these retaliations, and France and crew seem to be doing little to prevent them.

* Brad's a whiner, but makes a good point in his latest whine, and he will will the championship. Good for him, he's a great driver and has a great team.

I don't pull for either driver. I understand payback, but the fact remains he was under a black flag and he waited until Bowyer got to him and wrecked him. With championship racing involved that was a chickenshit move. There is a time for payback and it was not yesterday. One of the sports greatest drivers should be above this type of move. Mid season I would not have a problem with it. Gordon put a stain on his record with this classless move. He will have a good view of the race next week in his living room~

I am more upset about the fact there was no caution that came out for Danica. I understand letting them race for the win, and I am 1 of the biggest supporters of it. However, Phoenix is notorious for having to look straight into the sun on the frontstretch, combined with the amount of fluid that was out there, that could have turned very very ugly coming to the checkers.

That was very reckless on NASCAR's part~

Right, got it, Gordon slows up gets off the throttle, Boyer has one one option, ram him in the ass or go around, so he goes low, Gordon goes left and they make contact, both below the line of all things.... but it's Boyer's fault.

Hello there Jeff Gordon fan. Gordon could be upset he's a guy past his prime that can't get laid by a 2 trick gigolo.

It'll go past next week I suspect. But it is what it is... He knows he's not going to win another championship, so it's all good. The real chickenshit moves is NASCAR doing nothing to the drivers that act like Boyer, and then act surprised when this happens. Gordon was wrong, but sans NASCAR doing anything to the Boyers of the sport, this will keep happening.

What should happen is Gordon do nothing, then next week, a teammate put Boyer into the wall. Then act surprised. Spread the wealth...

So Jeff gets to the beach first, spends some quality time with the family, and prolly gets 3-4 races off to start next year too. Qoot! That's cool, as long as he knows he can't win next years championship, he can spend more time taking the air off of Boyer's spoiler (just as he goes into those high-speed turns) and watching the Boyer's ! Don't touch him, just take the down-force off him. THAT'S legal! A few wrecked cars into the season and maybe Five Hour Energy will want their paint on another ride! Like!

I say let them fight too! A) it's entertaining, and B) it sure will make any dumbass like Boyer think twice before manufacturing another "accident." Plus, high adrenaline fights between non-fighters (and no current NASCAR driver is a fighter!!) are just fun to watch!
