Houston has a great balance currently of drafting players to fit their offensive and defensive philosophies recently.

I'm very impressed with their front office and coaching staff because of this. Also jealous of Seattle's, even though Pete Carroll is a prick.

While I like his blitz concepts, he still prefers to play 2-gap in too many situations for me to fully endorse. If he stated in an interview that he was going to utilize more 1-gap bases or zone-blitz in base packages, I'd definitely be more intrigued.

Their defense would be so much stronger if they hadn't lost Cushing

LMAO

Pete Carroll is not in any way, shape or form, a "prick".

I love Carroll. Definitely agree with the post though. If we can get Heckert + Dorsey, even if either leave in 2-3 years, I feel they will have done a great job in providing players that can be effective long term via the draft.

Average at best. Do not want.

Cleveland's defense hasn't been that bad considering the talent, considering the move from a 3-4 to a 4-3, and especially given how often the offense puts them in bad situations. Wouldn't like the Jauron hire because I don't want a 4-3, but he's not as bad as the stats may say. He's a decent DC with a good attacking style.

No thanks.

He's been around the league forever without ever finding any true success.

This. Do not want Jauron.

Winston Moss maybe

KC Hawks 01-07-2013 02:00 AM

I'd say Winston Moss, but I guess he's an assistant head coach.
