Is it wrong to say 1st place Hawkeyes?
 
Probably the worst team they've had in about 10 years and they are in first place right now. The receivers are crap. They've lost their depth at RB. Pretty much a mediocre offense all around. But they are in first.

Haha, nope. They really are shit this year though. I have never seen a QB regress from one season to the next like Vandenberg.

But I find it ironic that they are in first in the division, could make it to the B10 title game

and yet have their worst team in many years.

And Phobia, that was a classic Big 10 game. Nothing wrong with that.

Compared to this year? He was a probably a little above average of a qb, not good, but decent and serviceable. He threw 27 tds and 8 picks last year....way way worse this year
