WTF! in KC We get Rams/Seahawks instead of the Faiders vs. Donks

Man can't these dudes get it right? Why would they think we would rather watch a mediocre matchup of the Rams vs. Hawks ? Just because they play in the same state?

Friigging big AFC West riviralry game and we don't get to see it. :banghead:

That was the thought that came to mind for me as well.

I believe that they can carry the other games if the other network choose not to broadcast the game. But I'm not into the broadcast technicalities of the NFL's TV contract.

Frigging Golf!

Never heard of that. CBS covers AFC and Fox Covers NFC. How would the local affiliate fox affiliate go about playing the CBS feed? You really think they'd want all of CBS's commercials playing?

Coogs 11-13-2005 08:42 AM

Fox and CBS alter back and forth every week on a "Double-Header"/"Single game" format. This week is Fox's week to show two games, and CBS has one game.

So in order to see the Denver/Oakland game here, we would not be able to see KC/Buffalo. :shake:

Fox only shows games involving AFC teams when the visiting team is an NFC team. CBS only shows NFC teams when the visiting team is an AFC team.

Coogs 11-13-2005 08:46 AM

As far as having to watch the Rams, I agree. I don't know what the other late NFC games are right now, but the Rams/Seahags doesn't appeal to me at all.

They need to re-think that policy. I'd rather watch I Love Lucy than the Rams.

nothing about the NFL on TV makes sense...fans crave the games and they make sure we don't get to actually see them...neat, huh?

Eleazar 11-13-2005 09:18 AM

If you could see every game you wanted on broadcast TV, no one would have reason to buy Sunday Ticket from them

I don't want to see every game...just the ones that are obvious - like our division rivals instead of infomercials for spray-on hair...

Phobia 11-13-2005 09:25 AM

I just called Fox 4 and they laughed at me. They wanted to know if that idiot BigRedChief put me up to the call. I hung up before they could trace the call.

I hear you. I was just saying, the NFL doesn't have much incentive to offer the games you really want on broadcast.

Besides what would a Sunday afternoon be without the Rams and some other NFC team stinking up the place on Fox. :shake:

Eleazar 11-13-2005 09:26 AM

By the way, how would Fox in KC pick up a CBS game? Would they be showing the CBS feed? That seems pretty strange to me... :spock:

StcChief 11-13-2005 09:29 AM

The TV coverage maps earlier in the week showed the Lambs at 4pm

for ALL of MO to see them get their a$$ kicked in Seattle.

Go to a bar with Sunday ticket to see Dungver/Raiders.
