(rumor) Jimmy Garoppolo price
is apparently 2 first round draft picks
I would laugh but I wouldn't be surprised to see Cleveland pay it. :shake: Patriots raping face again source: Dan Patrick Show |
I still say that if Jimmy were going to be a great QB, the Hoodie wouldn't trade him.

Two 1st round picks for a 26 year old QB that hasn't put shit on tape?
|
Well, there's no point in starting the price low.
Regardless, they have an aged Tom Brady who may retire anytime. If JG were the future for an NFL team they wouldn't be shopping him, IMO |
I don't expect anyone to give up a single 1st for Garoppolo.
Nobody's going to fork over that kind of draft capital and cost control for a single season of a guy that they then have to either franchise (and end up in the Kirk Cousins loop) or sign to a huge money deal with very little track record to back it up. Unless he agreed to an extremely team friendly deal as part of the trade, nobody's going to make that move. This is the same song and dance we saw with Cassel when national reeruns were saying that the Chiefs should give up their #3 overall pick for him. These guys love sucking off some Belichick backup. |
After watching the Browns complete the Osweiler trade.....I'm hoping that they're smart enough to stay away from this douche.
|
Anyone that does that is straight stupid. Two ones for an unproven nobody is insane.

There's not alot of tape, of course, but what there is, particularly against Miami where he started to get comfortable, it's impressive.
Been ALOT of talk around here about whether the Pats should trade him, given Brady's age. I think quite a few people feel that if the Pats think he can be solidly above-average, they should keep him. Both as an insurance plan for Brady in 2017, as many here think we have a serious championship contender but if Brady gets hurt we're dead if there is no good backup, and because of Brady's age. Keep him in '17. Franchise him for '18, then long term contract him for '19 and onward, and broom Brady, is what many are thinking. But ultimately, it's "In Bill We Trust", so we'll see what happens. Pretty clear just a single "1" won't do it though, not even Cleveland's pick at 12. At least that is what all the rumor mill reports are saying. |

I don't think anyone in the league is going to give up that for Cassel 2.0
|
There will be somebody dumb enough to do it, I just hope it's not us.
