If people simply pay as a gift rather than for goods and services then paypal doesn't withhold anything.

I'm no lawyer but I bet BRC's troop care package program would be available for 501(c)(3) status. Paypal wouldn't get another cent.

Any donations received then would be 100% tax deductible for the giver.

Must have been the year that I passed out and woke up after two hours asking when the fireworks were going to start...lol. My first bash was 07. I think that was the year of Antifreeze shots and the black eye, no?

Yeah, I remember that morning vividly despite all the alcohol the night before. You cranked up Rock & Roll Pt 2 just like you do every year and I hopped out of bed just like I had every year prior. Threw open the door and began running through the gameroom which in previous years had 12-20 people in varying degrees of drowsiness... Made the first of my usual 3 or 4 laps through the place when I see the usual 20 people lying on the ground and another 20+ standing near the door and somebody has some teens with them, maybe even pre-teens... So I dove into Mrs. Nzoner's NASCAR room and grabbed a cutout of her favorite driver and hid my TinyP behind him all the way back to my room.

The fact that the song was by Gary Glitter made it all the more appropo...

My first bash I slept in a tent out by the pond. It was hot. And noisy. All the cicadas or whatever you call them out there. We don't have those. We have traffic noise. and Mexican music.

If I want to make the donation in person, can I do this? I cannot commit 100% sure yet at this point due to my scheduling and various other things, but will work on that.

Appreciate it.

People are welcome to come and pay the day of,however, food will be planned only for those who are able to meet the deadline.Sorry to have to be like this but shit is just too expensive to be buying for 50 and having 25 show up.This is a Fundraiser and I want to do my best to present the charity with a decent check.

I think you're talking about something different than a bureaucracy. The leadership of this site supports his efforts 100%. You're probably talking about frustrations with flaky members of this site who say they're coming and then bail, leaving him holding the bag for the things he bought for their entertainment. I know it well and empathize. That's not bureaucratic problems.
