At least 14 people were stabbed at the Houston-area CyFair campus of Lone Star College Tuesday morning, according to a report from KPRC-TV. In a statement on their website, the school warned two armed people were on campus, one of whom had been taken into custody while the second remained at large. |

was an assault knife used?
http://www.knife-depot.com/images/product/c3/392049.jpg Notice the high grip handle that allows multiple stabs per second. Nobody needs that kind of knifepower. That knife was build for one thing - stabbing. |

These high capacity knives being are being sold in person and over the internet without background checks. This is unacceptable. We need common sense knife laws and universal background checks for all knives. These pampered chef knife dealers are getting out of hand. Ban infomercials for these dangerous weapons.

CNN's coverage of this is a cut above the other stations.

a ban of assault knives would slice murder rates in half
|
You can mock this all you want but there have not been any confirmed deaths. It would've been different had there been a gun involved.
