quote by Notre Dame hall of famer Ross Browner (could be applied to the Chiefs)
his quote about the firing of Willingham:
"Initially, I was disturbed that Willingham was not given five years to prove himself like Gerry Faust and Bob Davie had been given before him. Then, I realized that if you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep getting what you've gotten. Something has to change." I wish Lamar would adopt this philosophy. If you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep getting what you've gotten. |
Thats worked for Dan Snyder real well.

I honestly don't know if that's quite as fair in college football because there is no free agency... it takes 4 years to have a team full of guys that the coach wants in the program. I guess that's up for discussion though.

If Willingham wasn't such a street thug, he would probablly still be coaching there.

i.e. Keep doing what you've been doing = filling the seats Keep getting what you've gotten = cash |
