Really think about your relationship with your grandma. Think about what was special regarding her.. bring that into your tattoo. Angel Wings really are played out. tiresome and not even close to unique. Make it special. This is a lifetime your talking about. Really think hard about the design, and also work with your artist on the design, and trust them. Its what they do for a living. Also, treat the day as a big one. Take a good shower, eat a big meal and be ready;-) |

He wants a tribute to his Grandma? Get a portrait done by a portrait artist.

I got a tattoo when I was 18. I wanted it to be something that A) I was proud of; B) I would have emotional attachment to forever, and B) Meant something very real to me.
I thought about it a long time, and I came up with my last name. It is who I am (which will never change). So I got my last name tattooed on my arm with the words 4 Life! underneath them. That was 1937. And my last name is Hitler. Whoops. |
If it's a tattoo of the Jacksonville Jaguars logo, make sure he's aware they just got a new one. That would suck otherwise.
|
And I've got 5 tattoos.
One on the back of my neck. One on each bicep. One on my chest and one on my left forearm. |

However, if it were to happen, I would definitely have one on my face that said "Taylor Swift sat here" |

Ya its that good! |
let him have it. be involved. take him and give him your feedback on the design before it's on. People have been tattooing their bodies since the beginning of time, there's nothing wrong with it.
Having said that, make sure it is one he can conceal. |

Me, I'm planning on getting all of my tattoos when I turn 70. Then I don't have to worry about it. :) |
