Thats fine if fans want to try and get Arrowhead loud again but calling Guinness is beyond stupid.

Monday night when phylis fumbled it was loud as ****

Monday night opener too.

Giving chiefs fans all day to get liquored up brings out the beast

That MNF game wasn't anywhere near the level of the 90s though...

While it was impressively loud, I agree, it was probably only 75% of what Arrowhead used to be.

Goes hand in hand with ticket prices and lack of winning too. Not to mention the new wine and cheese crowd and the people that don't even sit in their seats in club.

KCrockaholic 07-18-2013 12:25 AM

Yeah the 90's Chiefs are laughing at the possibility of that.

The MNF Season opener double header in '10 was real close

The 2003 playoff game was the loudest I've ever been to personally.

October 7, 1991

Bills vs. Chiefs
Monday Night Football

Now THAT was LOUD and I was there. It was the game that made Arrowhead, ARROWHEAD.

I been at Arrowhead when the Chiefs were getting stomped by the Giants. That place was lifeless. I was at CenturyLink when the Hawks were getting stomped by Kurt Warner led Cardinals and that place was deafening. Seattle is loud every game win or lose. I hate to admit it.

Part of the problem is that the crowd in KC no longer thinks the team wants to win from the owner on down. Doesn't' matter if that is true or not. It is just the perception. Seattle is on the way back up and that crowd feeds that team.

We could do that here but people need to get off their ass and make it happen again regardless if the team sucks.

A 3-13 team is not setting any decibel records.

Exactly. Until there are signs of life from this team, the fans just are not going to get loud. Hopefully that changes over the next couple years.

I just texted security.

Yeah right. Seattle has a bunch of fairweather fans. Just look at the stadium when we kicked their ass a couple years ago. It was empty and quieter than a Jags home game.
