Paul Hackett killed Joe Montana.

TrickyNicky 10-15-2008 07:55 PM

lol the look on Carl's face is priceless though. I can laugh about it now, enough time has passed.

Hammock Parties 10-15-2008 08:18 PM

That shit ain't right.

That looks a lot like Denario Alexander letting a pass hit him in the numbers and bounce into an OSU defender's arms.

BTW, I still remember watching that game. Anders was a rookie, IIRC.

Is that Edwards next to Hackett?

sure looks like the POS...

DJJasonp 10-15-2008 10:34 PM

nuthooks for this!!!

but in all seriousness...I still, to this day, believe that if Anders catches the ball...we score a TD....we get the momentum and win that game.

damn you!!

I didn't post the cap of Al Saunders talking to Montana. Herm's curse is potent...

I'm glad I was a kid during this game or it might piss me off more.

This was a painful one but Buffalo always played Godly at home during the playoffs during that era. I was dissapointed but it didn't hurt nearly as bad as the home loses to Indy twice and ESPECIALLY the Donkeys. The Donkeys game pissed me off for weeks. I'm sure some will remember Gonzo catch in the back of the endzone. I haven't seen that clip since but I sware I remember it being a TD. That was before instant replay could reverse a play. Anyone got a clip of that? I thought it was a serious playoff ****ing but I never hear anyone talk about it. If they score a TD there they are tied at the end of the game and can kick a field goal instead of Elvis throwing in to the endzone. Of course, I should really blame Marty for playing ****ing Elvis. "A starter can't lose his job to injury" **** YOU MARTY! I'm glad Belecheck used that same strategy when the Pats chocked their playoff game in 2001. Oh wait, they didn't :cuss:

beach tribe 10-17-2008 06:02 AM

This crap really traumatized me when I was young. All my friends were Giants, 49er, Bills, and Cowboy fans. I graduated H.S. in 98'. They all got to taste the SB........Bills got to taste it a lot. I would laugh at them had their last two losses not come against the cowbitches.
It's extremely hard when you realize we have not had a team as good as those since. You never know when it's gonna come back around. Hell, it may never come back around.

I remember rooting for the Raiders once in my life, the week before they played Buffalo in the other Divisional game. If they would have won that game would have been at Arrowhead.

This.

Is it weird that I remember alot of weird stuff about the last Chiefs playoff run - I remember that the Northridge earthquake was the next day after the Oilers game, it was Martin Luther King day or something bc we were out of school maybe a snow day. Ahh to be 9 years old again.

sedated 10-25-2008 08:07 PM

I think I'm gonna go off myself now.

Thanks dick-wad.

Don't forget that Charles Mincy let a sure pick/six go right through his hands early in the first quarter. He stepped right in front of Pete Metzelaars running a slant, and had NOBODY in front of him to the endzone.

I dunno ... compared to the 13-3 seasons where we lost our first game, the AFC champ. game loss to the Bills was a joyride. Especially the Harbaugh/Lin Elliott game.

LOL ... is there an auto-change feature on this message board, or was this a moderator with a good sense of humor? I originally named the kicker that shall go unnamed ... and now he's listed as the kicker that shall go unnamed.

How about the game when Steve Deburg broke his pinky? Houston Oilers kicked our ass and Moon passed for over 5000 yards that day.
