Sorry if it's a repost, but I'm seeing a lot of talk about this... thought we might centralize the discussion.

this game definately has some potential.

so the decisions you make throughout the game change the ending? sort of like bioshock? any link for more info?

There is supposedly 500 or so different endings, but many of those are very minor changes.

Soul Calibur outta be great but I wasn't a big fan of games like virtua fighter because it seems really hard to remember all of these combos and it was hard to perform them on the controller. But I loved that game on dreamcast. The Force Unleashed looks like a good one!

I loved Fallout Tactics

Holy shit, Gametap is getting Fallout.

And it's going to be one of their free games.

If you do not play it and you've never played Fallout before, you're literally damaging yourself.

Amazon has snagged exclusive rights to sell the "Survival Edition" of Fallout 3. The Survival Edition is basically the entire Collector's Edition, previously seen before, plus a life-sized Pip-Boy 3000 -- just like what's in the game. The exclusive new item functions as a working digital clock and, well, will cost you an extra 50 smackers over the 80 dollar Collector's Edition. Doing the basic arithmetic, that comes out to about $130. The console versions of the Survival Edition will ship only to North America -- no Europe, sorry.

While we can say the Pip-Boy 3000 is certainly an interesting piece to add to one's collection, we're not sure if the price merits a purchase over the other SKUs. We guess you have to be true hardcore Fallout fans to get this. If you're on the borderline and want to know more, you can have a read of how Bethesda came up with all this extra collector's stuff. I already have the Pip Boy, and have an aversion to Special Editions, so I'll pass.

It'll be the regular edition for me. Plus if you preorder it you get the soundtrack and a poster.
