When do you shower?

Poll forthcoming.

In58men 02-20-2013 10:17 PM

Morning and Night.

Lumpy 02-20-2013 10:19 PM

Before I go to bed. However, there have been rare occasions when I get up early enough in the morning to take a shower.

'Hamas' Jenkins 02-20-2013 10:21 PM

When I wake up in the morning. Don't want to go to work with bedhead.

^^

Plus, I still have to brush the teeth, wash or splash or something the face, wake up sometime during this procedure, get dressed...doesn't really save any time to not shower.

Bugeater 02-20-2013 10:29 PM

Whenever I need it.

KurtCobain 02-20-2013 10:30 PM

Every morning, then sometimes in the after noon or before bed mainly for leisure, hot showers are my happy peacetime.

lewdog 02-20-2013 10:31 PM

After work/before bed since I work with stinky, sick old people all day.

cdcox 02-20-2013 10:31 PM

When I wash my legs.

I have a buzzcut, and I brush my teeth in the morning.

I wake up at 4:20 and am out the door by 4:40 after brushing my teeth, getting dressed, feeding the cat, putting my lunch together.

If I showered, I would have to add 10 min. I don't see how it could possibly not save you time to not shower.

but if he sweats a lot at night and does not have a buzz cut?

if you sweat as much as I do during the night time then I bet you you stink when you get to work no matter how much deodorant you put on in the morning. if I didn't take a shower I would have to wash out my pits and wash my balls every morning which really would take just as much time is a quick shower.

I shower at night because I can't go to sleep if I feel dirty after working all day. Plus I rarely get up before 10 anyways.

Good point.

I would like to mention though, that it's the middle of winter, and if you're sweating in your sleep, something is wrong with you.

Also, since I've started taking showers at night, my bed is cleaner, and my acne has virtually disappeared.

cosmo20002 02-20-2013 10:55 PM

If you have a job where you get all sweaty and/or stinky during the day, you can shower at night. Otherwise, showering at night instead of in the morning makes you an abnormal freak. Yep, I said it.

Roughly Halloween to Easter I shower in the morning.

Easter to Halloween I usually have a thin layer of sunscreen topped with a thick layer of dirt so I shower at night.

hometeam 02-20-2013 10:59 PM

I get up way to early for that shit. I am not a morning person. I take my shower at night, lay out my clothes, and in the morning I am up and out of the door in 10-15 minutes.

By the end of the day I feel really dirty, even on days that I haven't done much of anything. So I shower strictly at night, usually within an hour of going to bed. I have this thing about feeling clean when I lay down to sleep. If I don't feel fresh and clean, I won't be able to sleep as well.

I have issues with dry skin on my face if I shower too often, so the only time I'll shower when the sun is up is if I've gone to the gym early and need to be fresh for some type of event or get-together later in the day.

Lzen 02-20-2013 11:19 PM

I voted both. Normally I bathe in the morning. But on nights I play hoops and come home all sweaty, I shower before bed. I just throw on body spray and more deodorant in the morning. Of course, this is doable for a guy with a shaved head. :)

KcMizzou 02-20-2013 11:20 PM

Every morning. But if it's been a long day, a shower before bed makes me sleep like a baby.

It's the opposite for me. I take a shower every morning, but it doesn't wake me up. I like the water as hot as I can get it. It's more relaxing than anything.

The relaxing nature of the shower is just what I need in the morning.

I'm not a morning person. So I need to ease into my day. I don't want to jump out of bed, rush to get out the door and hit the road all groggy headed.

The shower clears out the cob webs and takes the edge off of the cruel reality of morning. I allow at least a couple of extra minutes in my morning routine to just appreciate the luxury of a hot shower. A shower and that first cup of coffee and I'm ready for the day.

I don't know. I don't get it. I literally have to use some kind of lotion on my face every single morning. And sometimes afternoon.

But I have some really ****ed up skin irritations. It's not fun having to use special shampoos and shit like that just to stay normal.

I guess I'm just a bit different. I never have issues with dry skin unless I shower too often, and even then, its only really an issue on my face- particularly around my mouth, cheeks and chin area. I can't remember the last time I put lotion on my arms or legs and my skin never looks ashy.

Just face/head for myself when it comes to dry skin. Seems like a similar issue. The rest of me is fine. But yes the chin and around mouth area can get dry easily. When I lived in Colorado it was worse. But I have severe skin irritations to all kinds of things. I've had poison ivy on every single inch of my body and even had my eyes swollen shut at one point because of it. Have had poison ivy in December and January while living in Missouri. Dry face is a minor thing.

That is why I shower at night. I hate having that sweaty sticky feeling on you, as soon as I get home I take a shower and then eat dinner and settle in for whatever the night will entail.

XXXshogunXXX 02-21-2013 07:46 AM

Gross, I didnt know people left their homes and started their days without showering.

I work graveyards, but when I had to wake up up at 5am for training at work, I still showered, even though I was getting 0-4 hours of sleep.

I shower whenever I leave my house, for anything. And that includes showering before, and of course after going to the gym.

AndChiefs 02-21-2013 08:30 AM

I work out in the evenings so I shower in the evening time. I also shower mornings because who wants to go to work with bedhead? Also, I actually have hair unlike 90% of you. :)

What is gross about showering at 9pm and leaving home at 6am?

Graystoke 02-21-2013 08:36 AM

I work at a Wastewater Treatment Facility. Most of the time I am in the field at Industrial Sites inspecting various wastewater treatment schemes. I see the good, bad and ugly sides of Industrial pollution. Everything from Hog Slaughter to Metal finishing.
I take a shower before work, and usually right when I get home.

On workdays I shower before work, after my morning cardio. I do weights at night, but I don't sweat much when lifting and I definitely don't sweat at work.

On days off I'll usually do cardio, jack around in the day, do weights, and shower in the evening when I'm done with everything.

RealSNR 02-21-2013 08:51 AM

I shower whenever your mother comes over

Frosty 02-21-2013 08:59 AM

In the morning. It wakes me up and also makes it easier to shave.

However, if I changed to to showering at night, I could sleep in a little. :hmmm:

I feel gross if I wake up & leave without a shower. I just don't feel right. I can understand it if you get sweaty & dirty at work, but I work in an office. I also shower over lunch because I usually spend my lunch at the gym. If I go for a run after work, I'll sometimes take a third shower in the evening.

Besides, admit it, some of you fat ****s get sweaty just reading CP. You know you aren't exactly fresh when you get up in the morning. :D

ChiefsLV 02-21-2013 10:23 AM

I tend to daydream in the shower which results in close to 30 minutes in shower/shave time. So yeah if I shower in the morning I'm usually always late for work, therefore I shower at night.

BlackHelicopters 02-21-2013 10:32 AM

Showering with an erection tends to take a little bit more time.

BWillie 02-21-2013 12:12 PM

Usually before I go to bed, whenever I wake up on the weekends. I don't really like to go to bed dirty, and it's real difficult for me to get up earlier than I do so in the morning is out.

Dude, it's bad enough when you can see people's individual muscle strands THROUGH their skin.

People can see every detail of yours because you've WASHED YOUR SKIN CLEAN OFF.

What's gross about showering immediately before bed?

If anything, I'd say you're gross for not showering before bed. If you don't, you're basically rolling around in your filth all night.

B14ckmon 02-21-2013 12:42 PM

I use to only do it before work but then I got into the habit of doing it before going to bed because I'd run and/or workout before going to bed. Now have to before bed or I feel gross even if I didn't work out.

Pasta Little Brioni 02-21-2013 05:36 PM

Definately before bed, sometimes in the AM. Easily more disgusting to not take one before bed IMO.
