2012 Ryder Cup

All tied up after the morning foursomes on Friday. Some of the American players really shit the bed. This afternoon looks to be a different story with the American players coming out strong in the afternoon.

So far this afternoon, US up in 2 matches, all square in the other two matches.

Check that... Kuchar just hit a long putt to go one up with his match.

I'm surprised more aren't watching this? Ryder Cup is awesome..!

I'd like to see the US win this. We haven't been good in men's tennis in years.

That Colitis guy from Europe has 8 birdies and an eagle. Yet Tiger and Stricker somehow still have a chance at a draw.

I can't believe people aren't watching.....Bubba Watson and Keegan Bradley make this fun to watch. And Bradley with Mickelson looks like a lethal duo

I watched it most of the day yesterday, back at it today (with a break around noon to mow the backyard. )

USA is OWNING the Euros this morning. Up in all 4 matches, and yeah, Keegan Bradley and Lefty are bringing it every single damn hole. McIlroy looks demoralized, and some of the wind has been taken out of Poulter's sails.

The Lefty/Bradley match will end at the 12th if Westwood/Donald keep playing like they are.

I am a little worried now with the Watson/Simpson pair. They started off good but the last 2 holes are weak.

Sergio has his game face on today. No more smiles.

SPATCH 09-29-2012 08:27 AM

The frenzied fans always trip me out when the Ryder Cup is in the US. Like Happy Gilmore is out there, or something...

I dig it, though.

Right on with L & B... 5 up after 9. Damn... that's an ass-whoopin' right there.

USA up in 3 matches, all square in the 4th. Stretch out that lead, bring Tiger & Kuch back for the afternoon session...

Check that... Simpson/Watson just missed a putt to halve the hole, so Rose/Poulter have gone 1 up through 10.

Damn......L&B up by 6 after 10.

And about to close them out...

Damn. Steamrolled frickin' Luke Donald and Lee Westwood 7 & 6. Matched the best win in Ryder Cup history.

Mosbonian 09-29-2012 09:20 AM

Good thing about beating them so early it lets both Mickelson and Bradley rest and come back to play in the afternoon.

Although Bradley is on such a roll I don't think I want him to rest.
