I Just Watched The Wrestler And I....

want to blow my brains out.

why the hell did I watch this ? JFC, what a depressing movie. Could Mickey be more believable? Good lord, it was like the role he was born to play.

worse over, I think I may finally hang up my unitard and call it quits.

Pretty good acting all around, but definitely a movie you watch once and once only.

Roarke is so underrated..

I agree.
man, just too sad and too realistic.

I loved 'The Notebook' (NTTAWWT) but jesus...I was a wreck after watching it. I can't do it again. My wife watches it repeatedly. **** that.

The Notebook
Where the Red Fern Grows
.....a few movies I can't watch.

"Pretty good"?

That's like saying that you're a "Pretty sucky" poster.

It's dark but remember every competitive sports got it's dark side.

Frazod 11-28-2013 02:30 AM

I picked it up in the bargain bin, based on all the gushing critical reviews. I think I lasted about 15 or 20 minutes before I'd had enough. Yuck. Holy ****, why would anyone ever do that? Who would find it entertaining? And why would anybody make a movie about it? And what kind of asshole would recommend that movie to others?

Nasty. :shake:

Tim, I know you love movies, you gotta try to make it through the end....it's truthful tragedy.

It ain't ever gonna happen. No interest in the subject matter, the character, anything. And I generally like Mickey Rourke.

But if I feel the need to watch a dark Mickey Rourke movie, I'll stick with Angel Heart.
